Money

We tried to photograph Matthew beside all sorts of scenic objects, such as this prayer promising great wealth, but Matthew was generally too busy investigating small pebbles or pieces of grass, or else was too surrounded by cooing grandmas and teenaged girls, for the photos to turn out well.

Posing

After Laoshan we went back to the hotel. Our original idea had been to wander about the seashore a bit more, but, overheated and sweaty from our climb, we decided to hang out by the hotel's pool. Here's Matthew flexing his massive muscles in a classic bodybuilder pose.
