In 2005 we went to China for nearly 3 weeks, May 10-26. This was my third trip to China, William's second, and Matthew's first. We went to Beijing, Wuhan, and Qingdao. Here are the results.

We flew in to Beijing, and the next evening we took an overnight train to Wuhan.

We spent nearly a week in Wuhan, visiting Grandma, who was thoroughly charmed by Matthew's wiles and William's energy.

After Wuhan we visited Qingdao for a weekend, meeting up with Geoff. We also made a flying visit to the Taoist monasteries in Laoshan, a couple hours out of Qingdao.

Finally we returned to Beijing for a few days.
