The whole point of visiting Wuhan (and indeed China) was to visit Grandma. She's a tough old lady, nearly 80 years old and still living by herself in her tiny apartment. She adored Matthew (who was appropriately charming and sweet), and though William is not as cuddly she was still pretty delighted by him, to the point of joining in the game of balloon volleyball he played with his friend, throughout dinner, at a restaurant one night.
