On our last trip to China, we made the mistake of planning adult-oriented things like trips to the Forbidden Palace and so on. This time, with two kids and more experience, we mainly aimed at kid-friendly outings. We visited Wuhan's sparkling new riverside park -- actually very nice, and in a William-friendly touch the river walls showed a journey through time, including a kilometer or two of dinosaur "fossils" embedded in the stone. There were also some fun sittable sculptures, and some little cars gave William the opportunity to proudly drive his mother and Matthew around for a change.
